Just a great match for a mini-break over the weekend in San Diego with fantastic value for money. The staff was incredibly helpful, especially when the manager checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Bring your own snacks as dining options are limited.

great spot for city strolls and nearby parks

I had a fantastic stay where the staff really went above and beyond to accommodate me, especially at breakfast, and I loved the clean, comfortable, and spacious room that made my weekend getaway so enjoyable. being just a short drive from the stunning Torrey Pines State Reserve and near the beautiful Salk Institute provided me with perfect walking opportunities to explore the area.

The reception staff is very friendly and accommodating. The King Room was clean and featured a bar area. I appreciated the choice of YouTube in multiple languages. The location is convenient for exploring the area. Overall, it was a pleasant experience! 😊

I loved my stay, especially enjoying the outdoor pool and the relaxing jacuzzi after a long day. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though they could use some updates. the hilton garden inn has a fantastic location just outside the city, making it perfect for a getaway. the king room with balcony was lovely, and it even features a small bar area. the best part was the reception staff, especially linda, who was super nice and accommodating. plus, we enjoyed the fact that there’s a choice of youtube in multiple languages!

My stay was delightful thanks to the top-notch service at the restaurant, especially the breakfast options likeFrench toast and huevos rancheros, which were fantastic. The staff were warm and engaging, making our experience memorable, but I did find the additional charges for parking and snacks a bit disappointing.

The location outside the city is fantastic. Easy access to attractions made it perfect for my getaway. The King Room with balcony provided a lovely space, especially the small bar area. Linda at the reception really stood out. her friendly service made me feel welcomed. However, some amenities felt lacking. I was also surprised to discover the parking fee of $12 per night. The outdated breakfast setup, using paper cups and plastic cutlery, was disappointing. While the staff's friendliness remains a highlight, a few operational issues need addressing for a more seamless experience.

We had a wonderful family stay near Del Mar! The location was ideal, close to the beach and attractions like Legoland and the San Diego Zoo. The kids loved the clean pool and the welcoming atmosphere. The shop downstairs was super convenient for snacks.

Enjoyed a restful stay in a spacious balcony room. The staff was exceptionally friendly, making us feel at home. Breakfast offerings were delightful and plentiful, especially the fresh fruit selection. For future guests, take advantage of the free parking—it's a huge bonus in this area!
